Child Life sessions are not eligible for insurance reimbursement therefore a child or family who may truly benefit from child life interventions may find the cost to be prohibitive.

A gifted Child Life session offers families expert guidance during some of childhood’s hardest moments: medical procedures, anxiety, grief, and big life changes. Instead of toys or things that fade, this gift provides coping tools, emotional support, and confidence that lasts far beyond the session.

This purchase is considered a gift to a child who may not otherwise be able to afford child life services. By purchasing this gift, the buyer understands that they will not receive any information, updates or notice about who receives the session or what occurs during the session. Illuminate Child Life is a for-profit business therefore there will be no tax receipt provided.

All gift session purchases are non-refundable.

Session cost will be applied as needed for a child or family who cannot afford the session fee unless the buyer indicates they are gifting it for a specific child or family.

By purchasing a session, the buyer acknowledges that the provider is not liable for medical outcomes, diagnostic decisions, or emergencies. Child life services are supportive and educational in nature.
